Science-Maths Hobby Club:

The activities of the Science – Maths club offer valuable opportunities in an informal nature for the realization of the broader objectives of science and mathematics education.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To develop scientific attitude and training in scientific method
  2. To create interest in scientific facts and principles of mathematics
  3. To encourage participation in practical application of science and mathematics
  4. To develop constructive, explorative and inventive faculties of the students
  5. To make the students understand the value of time and proper utilization of their leisure time
  6. To organize guest lectures, science fairs, exhibitions, quiz competition, educational visits, nature trail etc.

Activities of the Club:

  1. A nature trail was organised Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali
  2. Visit to Nehru science center was organised thrice on various occasions
  3. Potted plants were contributed by the students to study their botanical details and to beautify the college campus
  4. A ballet on environment was performed during the environmental seminar
  5. Christmas eve was celebrated by the science – maths students with pomp and show
