Library:

A library is the heart of an educational institution. The college has a well equipped library in the eighth floor of the building. The library hall consists of reading room stack room and the library office. The library provides seating arrangement for 60 students at a time.

Open Access:

The college has introduced the system of open access where the students are allowed to enter the stacks and choose the book for themselves. All the cupboards of the library book stacks are open to facilitate free access of the students.

The College has a well developed Library, having a balanced collection of books on subjects of prescribed study, current topics, philosophy, research, and other topics. More than 14,000 books are available in the Library, and about 20 periodicals, in addition to journals, on various topics and 3 newspapers, are regularly subscribed to. The Library has a Reference Section with Encyclopaedia, books on General Knowledge etc. In order to enrich the Library, every year a number of valuable books on varied topics of study and interest are purchased on recommendation of teachers. The books are also purchased under UGC scheme.

Multimedia Facilities:

The college is well equipped with LCD along with a computer installed in the Lecture Hall for use by the staff and students. The college also has Overhead Projectors, Audio Equipment, a VCD Player and Television, and other equipments which are often used in the teaching-learning process.

Computer Laboratory:

The college has a newly-renovated state-of-the-art computer laboratory with Internet connection facilities. The laboratory has 16 personal computers with the latest configurations especially for the use by the students. The laboratory is also equipped with Scanning and Printing facilities. The laboratory is looked after by a qualified teaching assistant who also provides technical support.

Psychology Laboratory:

The college has a separate Psychology Laboratory which has all the tests and the required equipments for conducting psychology experiments included in the B.Ed. syllabus.

Instructional Aids Library:

The college maintains an instructional aids library containing instructional material such as models, globes, maps, charts, albums, roller boards, laboratory equipment, mathematical instruments, and other teaching aids. These are loaned out for the use of the student teachers in their practice teaching.
