Workshops & Seminars: The Bombay Teachers’ Training College conducts Seminars and Workshops to give the students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with topical issues. We invite resource persons to benefit from the expertise in their chosen field. Staff seminars are a regular feature of the academic programme. The college also acts as a resource center and the faculty regularly conducts seminars and workshops on invitation from neighbouring institutions especially in the cooperating schools. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan invites the faculty as resource persons for their in-service Refresher Courses. The Vidyalankar Institute of Technology invited the Principal and faculty to conduct an in-service training module for their faculty. In November 2005 the college conducted a Seminar-cum-Workshop on Environmental Education: A Teacher’s Perspective. Several teachers and faculty from institutions across Mumbai participated. Mr. Bittu Sahgal, Editor, Sanctuary Asia magazine gave a presentation. Conferences: National Conference on "Challenges and Choices: Education in a Globalizing World" The conference was attended by total of 60 participants, as well as several Principals & invitees from various institutions, and faculty members. 5 of the participants were from out-station. 28 of the participants presented papers on the four sub-themes of the conferences.
